HOW CAN YOU HELP?

 

(1)   ATTEND A SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING OF THE BOARD AT 9 A.M. ON JUNE 18.   The Board will be holding a special public meeting to deliberate on testimony presented June 5 on proposed changes to the rules for visiting and recreation. The meeting will be held in the Board's conference room at 51 Chambers Street, Room 929C, near City Hall. Click here for a map of the meeting location.

(2)   ATTEND A BOARD MEETING.   The Board ordinarily meets at 9 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Click here to go to the Board of Correction's website to check for changes to the schedule.

The Board's meetings are held in the Board of Correction's conference room at 51 Chambers Street, 9th Floor / Room 929C, by City Hall Park. Click here for a map of the meeting location. These meetings are free and open to the public, and your presence will remind the Board that people care what happens in the City jails.
